Hamilton Building & Joinery identifying proven, forward-thinking solutions
Birmingham, UK – As part of an ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, Hamilton Building & Joinery Services recently visited the Installer Show 2025 at the NEC Birmingham. The event provided an ideal platform to explore the latest advancements in building technology, materials, and smart home solutions.
Accompanied by long-term collaborator MC Plumbing & Heating, the visit was part of a strategic push to keep projects at the cutting edge of the construction and renovation industry.
Simon Hamilton, founder and director, explained the purpose of the visit:
“For us, the Installer Show is about identifying proven, forward-thinking solutions that we can bring straight into our work. Whether it’s improving thermal efficiency, integrating smart systems, or enhancing build quality, we’re always looking to raise the standard.”
Hamilton Building & Joinery focused on technologies that could make a real-world impact across extensions, refurbishments, and new builds. Key areas of interest included:
- Sustainable Building Materials – Simon explored advanced moisture barriers and breathable membranes, assessing their potential to boost energy efficiency and comply with modern building regulations.
- Roofing and Glazing Innovations – He examined new roof window systems, evaluating their structural performance, longevity, and installation benefits for upcoming projects.
- Digital Design Tools – With an eye on client experience, Simon tested virtual reality (VR) software that allows clients to walk through their projects before a single brick is laid—enhancing decision-making and communication.
- Smart and Integrated Systems – The team explored ventilation solutions and low-flow water fixtures, assessing how they can be incorporated seamlessly into building designs to support energy-efficient living.
While MC Plumbing & Heating focused on renewable energy systems and smart heating controls, the collaboration helped both parties evaluate integrated approaches to future-ready homes.
The show also allowed Simon to strengthen supplier relationships, discover new materials, and gather technical insights that will directly inform upcoming builds.
Hamilton Building & Joinery Services remains firmly committed to delivering modern, efficient, and sustainable solutions—blending traditional craftsmanship with the best of today’s building innovation.
