Counselling service is marking its second anniversary, supporting individuals and couples.

Pathway Counselling has become an established part of the town’s wellbeing network, offering a range of therapeutic services designed to help people navigate life’s challenges.

Based in Hexham, the service provides face-to-face sessions alongside online and telephone counselling, making support accessible to clients both locally and across the UK. Its work covers a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties and low self-esteem.

At the heart of the practice is Andrea, an experienced integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With more than 30 years’ experience working with adults, families and young people, she brings a tailored approach to therapy, drawing on a range of methods to suit individual needs.

Over the past two years, Pathway Counselling has built a reputation for offering a warm, professional and confidential environment, with an emphasis on trust and personal growth. Clients are also offered an initial consultation, helping them feel comfortable and confident before beginning their counselling journey.

The service operates from Hexham’s Bodyworks Centre, while also reaching a wider audience through remote sessions—reflecting a growing demand for flexible mental health support in rural communities.

As it celebrates its second anniversary, Pathway Counselling continues to play an important role in supporting mental wellbeing across Hexham, providing a safe space for people to explore challenges, build resilience and work towards positive change.
