New Donations and Distribution Centre in Prudhoe for Tynedale Hospice at Home

Tynedale Hospice at Home has expanded its retail operations to support it’s essential hospice at home care services across West Northumberland, Tynedale, and Ponteland.

A new Donations and Distribution Centre in Prudhoe will now be the hub for receiving, sorting, and distributing donated items to our charity shops, which fund end-of-life Nursing Care, Pre and Post Bereavement Support, Holistic and Complementary Therapies, and Patient Transport Services to local families.

As a Hospice, we are always seeking volunteers to support us and particularly in our new hub. This role will offer the chance to give back to the community while gaining skills in retail, warehousing, teamwork, and communication.

The hub is open Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm and you can find us at Unit 1C, Princess Court, Princess Way, Prudhoe, NE42 6PL. Anyone interested can tour the facility, meet the Retail Operations Team, and learn about volunteer opportunities
